Happy Monday, sweets! I hope your week is off to a fab start. Is it feeling like fall yet in your city?
Yesterday in Dallas was an absolute delight! It finally felt like autumn had arrived. The weather was crisp and cool as I shot this #outfitoftheday in Highland Park Village. They even had pumpkins placed about the shopping center as festive decor… so, I was in heaven. #theholidaysaremyfavorite
To celebrate the turning of the season, I layered up my look with burgundy and caramel hues from head to toe. Per usual, all items are from the happiest place on earth, aka: Nordstrom. Like I mentioned in this recent cape-clad post, Nordstrom is often my one-stop-shop since I can find quality items at a wide variety of price points. That post featured some major splurges from Nordy’s accessories department, but today’s post features more affordable finds. Everything I’m wearing is under $120 (besides the bag… whoops!) I chose to style both a jumpsuit and a midi skirt with the same warm, autumnal accessories to underscore their versatility (and, let’s be honest, I LOVED both looks and couldn’t decide which one to wear…) 🙂
First off, the jumpsuit!
Now let’s chat about the dreamy deets:
This silk scarf MAKES both looks. From the pretty medallion print to the uber-luxe silk, it’s my latest fall fave and I can’t believe that it’s way under $100! I kept the jewelry minimal (per usual) with these simple Kate Spade studs that are understated in design yet fall-perfect in color.
If you took note of this crazy-cute cranberry bag, you can probably tell that I’m smitten with everything Louise et Cie. (P.S. The Louise et Cie calf hair satchel that I recently styled with a classic fall cape is BACK IN STOCK! I’ve been wearing it EVERYWHERE lately. Snag it while it’s still avail!)
These cognac-colored pumps are another must-have. I wore these exact pumps in pale purple last spring. Come October, I made sure to order the same shoes in a more fall-appropriate hue because they’re the comfiest heels for all-day-wear. The soft suede melds to your foot for a comfy fit and the not-too-high high heel is ideal whether wearing them in the workplace or on the weekend.
Last, but definitely not least, does this faux leather jacket look familiar? I’ve worn it about a bajillion times in black. The quality is crazy-good for the under $100 price tag, and the faux leather looks like the real thing! (Read the reviews for proof!) Sooooo, I knew that I needed to add another one of these cuties to my closet in a new color. I’m swooning over the suede version as well! #maybenexttime? 😁
