Remember when matchy-matchy was lame way back when? Well, it’s not anymore. It’s chic.
(And it’s easy!)
These coordinated floral separates from Marks & Spencer are giving me all the fall feels. That jacquard fabric though…
It’s autumnal, it’s sophisticated- it’s EVERYTHING.
Don’t get me wrong, I love all the fall basics too! A girl can never have too many cable knits, but sometimes you just wanna luxe it up a bit! Depending on the dressiness of your Thanksgiving dinner, this two piece set could make the most perfect ensemble for turkey with the fam. Or even a crisp November night out with your beau!
Keep in mind, this look becomes much more casual when the matching jacket is removed. The sweater underneath has a dramatic balloon sleeve that’s surprisingly slimming since it cinches at the wrist. It’s a gorgeous classic. Whether you choose to wear these pieces as a pair or stick with the statement skirt on its own, this look will have you feeling like a million bucks. I promise. 🙂
(Fun Fact: This jacquard jacket is crafted with water-repellant technology. Nifty if you get caught in the rain, eh?)
Before I wrap this post up and let you get to shopping, let’s chat about these over the knee boots for a hot sec. They’re SO COMFORTABLE, my friends! They have a classy kitten heel that even a heel-averse woman won’t mind. Better yet, they’re crafted with shock absorbent padding that reduces pressure and increases ankle stability. The Insolia technology within Marks & Spencer shoes has actually been endorsed by the UK College of Podiatrists. That sounds legit if you ask me… 🙂
Marks & Spencer’s prices are ridiculously good for the exquisite quality of their items. I’m always impressed. Remember this M&S velvet skirt I styled last year? It’s been a closet staple ever since. Now I have my eye on this burgundy lace number. It’s a BEAUTY! And the burgundy hue will work for both Thanksgiving and Christmas! (I love a double-duty find!)
Important side note: Be sure to take a look at the size chart on their site. M&S lists UK sizes, which run much smaller than U.S. For example, I’m typically a size 6 US but I wear a size 10 UK. My items fit perfectly upon arrival based on their size chart. Just follow the chart and you’ll be pleased!
As always, thank you bunches for stopping by! Happy shopping!!
P.S. Even though Marks & Spencer ships from the UK, I received my items at lightning speed!
If you spend over $50 Express Shipping to the United States is FREE!!!
A huge thanks to Marks & Spencer and Shopping Links for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own and 100% genuine.
