The power suit is back and prettier (in pink) than ever.
This blush-hued pantsuit strikes the perfect balance between pretty & profesh, so you can rock it from the boardroom to brunch. 💗
Pink pantsuits sauntered down the NYFW fall ’16 runways of both Gabriela Hearst & Creatures of Comfort. The marriage of menswear-inspired tailoring with the ultra-femme hue was magic. Clearly 2016 is the year to channel your inner Elle Woods with a little pink-on-pink professional wear.
Since I couldn’t stand waiting until fall to sport this trend, I found a spring-appropriate solution. I chose a light, linen pantsuit with a cropped, culotte cut. The linen imparts an easiness to an otherwise structured silhouette like a breath of fresh air.
The best part?
These two separates can absolutely, positively stand alone. This blush blazer will add a touch of feminine structure to a myriad of pant options, like these exquisite lace palazzos or these dreamy denim super flares. Come spring, keep your look casual enough for weekend brunch by styling the linen culottes with a fluttery, eyelet off-the-shoulder top. Or, if you prefer a bit more structure, this cold-shoulder blouse would make for a crazy-cute pairing. As a matter of fact, it’s sitting in my shopping cart right now. It’s just too good.
P.S. These lace pumps are ON SALE and available in 3 colors! There’s a generous stretch to the fabric that makes them extremely comfortable. Need I say more…? xo
