Hi fabulous ladies!
With holiday parties on the horizon and fall weddings in full swing, every woman is looking to find that go-to cocktail dress to have on-the-ready in her closet. I wore this black and white beauty to a wedding just a few weekends ago, and it was a winner. From the monochromatic palette to the off-the-shoulder neckline, this dress is both sophisticated and feminine. It’s like a ladylike take on the tuxedo!
I kept to my monochrome palette with these sensational T-strap pumps by Nine West. They almost steal the show don’t you think?! I must admit I’ve never been much of a Nine West gal. Perhaps I was mistaken, but I always considered the brand a bit…dare I say…blahh?! But these sassy cap-toe heels (available in 2 additional colors) are changing my mind. There’s nothing boring about these babies! Plus, they get bonus points for being exceptionally comfortable despite the sky-high heel. I’m happy to report that it looks like Nine West is upping their edge and beginning to cater to the fashion forward woman. I’ve already got my eye on two other bold beauties- the lace up pumps and the leopard print booties, to be exact. 🙂
With evening temps dropping as we near November, I chose to layer up with some sheer black, back-seam tights. Sheer hosiery sauntered down many Fall 2015 runways including DVF and Monique Lhuillier. Needless to say, I’m sold on the trend.
To top it all off, this shoulder bag is the icing on the cocktail dress cake. The bordeaux-hued velvet adds just enough color-intrigue to the otherwise black and white ensemble. With a look nothing short of luxe, this bag is surprisingly affordable at only $51!
