Yesterday, what a day! Guess what happened?!
While prepping this post so that it could go live on the blog today, I accidentally pressed “publish” WAY before it was ready to launch. (Whoops!) – If only you could’ve seen my “palm to forehead moment”… Anywho, oh well, please give your inbox my apologies!
If you took a look at my not-quite-ready post yesterday, then I can hope that the accidental email acted as a teaser of sorts for today’s look?! I promise this post is the “whole shebang” this time around!
Pairing prints and mixing up patterns is one of my favorite ways to up the fashion-factor of any look. Sometimes I pair prints on a whim (hey, when it works, it works!), but other times I style a look with a very specific intention in mind. Print mixing can be super simple when you keep it cohesive. Since bold geometric prints are trending this fall, I kept my look congruent by pairing 3 different graphic pieces, each with varying linear patterns.
The bold check print on the trousers met its perfect counterpart when I paired it with this cape. Speaking of capes, this particular one is sold out (insert super distraught emoji here…) but this black cape or this red cape would be just as lovely. If you want to keep things spicy and switch up your prints, I am in linear love with this Lavish Alice cape.
