Nothing says Valentine’s Day (or Galentine’s Day!) quite like this little (under $50!!) red mini by Topshop.
Topshop is one of the most worn labels here on Fashion And Frills – my closet is filled with floral minis, rose-clad midis and little red wrap skirts all bearing a Topshop tag. So, needless to say, their newest arrivals are ALWAYS on my radar. (Side Note: This post is NOT sponsored by Topshop, I’m just crazy-obsessed with their clothing.)
Keep in mind, I ALWAYS size up in Topshop (not so fun for us ladies to do…) But, hey, it’s all for the sake of fashion. Since Topshop is based in the UK, I find that most every item feels a step ahead of the trends here in the states (LOVE that.)
Now, re: this black faux leather jacket…
I wear it OFTEN. And when I say often, I mean 3+ times a week (quite literally). 🙈🙈🙈 It’s just so dang versatile. Case and point: I wore it atop this tank dress on Saturday with these bomb.com embroidered booties (the black and red version). Then, the very next day, I paired it with this olive top and skinny (under $50!) jeans. Oh, and you’ll be seeing this very same jacket styled with PINK SEQUINS later this week! (You can shop the sneak peek HERE.)
Do you recall that I have it in this rich tan hue, too?! #ObsessionIsREAL
I wear it in a size medium for reference. It’s so easy to throw atop nearly every ensemble for a little warmth (and a little edge 😉).
Another comfy staple that I could babble on and on about for days? This uber-stretchy $29 turtleneck top! It’s like heaven. I purchased it first in navy and FELL IN LOVE with its comfy-goodness. I knew that my closet needed at least 1 more. So, I ordered it in classic black. It goes with EVERYTHING and pairs perfectly under any jacket. It doesn’t add bulk because it’s rather thin but the turtleneck makes it winter-apropos.
And that’s a wrap!
Hugs to you and happy Monday, sweet friend!
Lots of love,
P.S. For a little more Valentine’s Day outfit inspo, I’ve styled a snazzy red jumpsuit HERE! xo
